Introducing yourself: full name
When introducing yourself in a business environment, it is appropriate to say your full name.
Fill the time: traffic, weather
If you want to fill the time with small talk, choose light topics like the weather or the traffic, something everyone easily can relate to.
Moaning: a bit is okay
A bit of moaning about the weather or the traffic is okay and quite common, but don't be dramatic.
Handshake: firm, friendly + eye contact
That includes your handshake. It should be firm, friendly and come with eye contact.
Business cards: important, look, polite comment
Business cards are still important and used a lot. If you get one, take a look at it and perhaps make a polite comment. Don't just put it in your wallet.
Personal interests: hobbies, holidays, likes, etc.
Showing interest in personal things is okay in a professional environment, too, such as hobbies, holidays or other likes. If it is not too private, of course.
